Snow Leopard Foundation’s Conservation Efforts Acknowledged by Kyrgyz Ambassador

A delegation of Snow Leopard Foundation (SLF) led by Dr. Muhammad Ali Nawaz paid a courtesy visit to the office of Honorable Ambassador of Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Mr. Erik Beishembiev on 5th February 2018 in Islamabad.  Dr. Ali briefed the Honorable Ambassador with SLF conservation activities in its program regions in Gilgit Baltistan and Chitral KPK. He also apprised the Honorable Ambassador with SLF’s active participation in Global Snow Leopard & Ecosystem Protection Program (GSLEP) forum at International level.

H.E. Mr. Erik Beishembiev appreciated SLF’s contribution in the conservation of snow leopards in Pakistan. Kyrgyz Republic is one of the snow leopard range countries and holds a key position as the GSLEP Secretariat is located in the capital city Bishkek. The Honorable Ambassador offered his support and cooperation to SLF through joint efforts in promoting the cause of snow leopard conservation.
