International Biodiversity Day was celebrated by Pakistan Museum of Natural History (PMNH) Islamabad in collaboration with ICIMOD, IUCN, FAO, SLF and Arid University, Rawalpindi. The Ambassador of Nepal H.E. Ms. Sewa Lamsal was the chief guest at the event.

Participants spoke about the importance of biodiversity regarding this year’s them ‘Our Biodiversity, Our Food, Our Health’. The chief guest shared her views on the importance of conserving nature through advanced scientific techniques and to create awareness among the general public to contribute to the conservation efforts. Director-General PMNH Dr. Muhammad Rafique thanked the participants and guests for attending the event.
