SLF celebrated the Biodiversity Day on 22 May 2017 at the Pakistan Museum of Natural History (PMNH) in Islamabad. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Pakistan Science Foundation, PMNH, Ministry of Climate Change and SLF. The event was attended by a large number of students from schools, colleges, and universities from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Mirpur AJK, Haripur, and KPK. A technical session was followed after the inaugural and prize distribution ceremony. Prominent scholars, environmentalists, and biologists from various universities were among the speakers, they delivered brief lectures on the importance of biodiversity and its components. The technical session was attended by university students and display stalls from various organizations made the event more Colorful.
