Pakistan Wildlife Protection Awards

Launched in 2024 by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination and the Snow Leopard Foundation, with generous support from the UK Government’s Illegal Wildlife Trade Challenge Fund, the Pakistan Wildlife Protection Awards recognize and celebrate the courage, commitment, and outstanding service of wildlife rangers, watchers, and conservation professionals working on the frontlines of biodiversity conservation across Pakistan

Conservation is not possible without the people who protect nature every day — often in remote, harsh, and dangerous landscapes.

A Calendar Event Since 2024

The Awards have turned into a calendar event since 2024, celebrated each year on the occasion of World Rangers Day. They honour wildlife rangers, watchers, and conservation professionals on the frontlines of biodiversity protection in Pakistan.
