Event Brief: On July 31, 2024, the Snow Leopard Foundation (SLF), in collaboration with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination (MoCC&EC) and with the support of Snow Leopard Trust (SLT) and UK government through the Illegal Wildlife Trade Challenge Fund (IWCTF), hosted the inaugural Pakistan Wildlife Protection Awards (PWPA) at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) Islamabad. This prestigious event, held on World Ranger Day, was dedicated to recognising and celebrating the extraordinary efforts of wildlife rangers, guards, and watchers who have committed their lives to protecting Pakistan’s rich biodiversity.
